Many dentists today struggle with balancing a great patient experience with running a successful practice. Miscommunications between team, doctor, and patients can breakdown the relationships leaders work so hard to build.

The reality is, losing sight of the connection between leadership and communication often shows up as low case acceptance, no-show appointments, and declining practice performance. If left unattended, frustration sets in, team turnover occurs, and patients may go elsewhere.

With over 30+ years in dentistry, I understand how difficult it can be to harmonize patient care with the business side of the practice. Callie Ward

CEO & Founder

Callie has been in the dental industry over 30 years.  Callie's great accomplishments was successfully raising her family of four children with her husband Wayne and completed her master's degree when the kids were in middle school.  Being able to balance work and family wasn't always easy and now she is loving being a DASH to her three grandchildren. 

Her goal is to help you and your practice be successful and that might mean different things to different practices!  She lives in Colorado with her husband and two dogs.  They love to camp, hike and be active with in their children and grandchildren's lives.

Services

Practice will have two one on one phone calls per doctor and 2 calls with the team and/or individual team members.  Calls will range from 30-60 minutes each.

Every six months the coach will come into the office and evaluate the practice in all aspects.  Opportunities for growth will be identified and a strategic growth plan will be instituted for the practice.  Team leadership and accountability will be crafted. Monthly goals and KPI's will be tracked as well as an annual planning summit yearly.  

Full Coaching - 18 Months

This is an in office consultation to evaluate the strengths and opportunities for growth.  The consultant would observe 1/2 day (4 hours) and then provide a 4 hour focused team meeting addressing the most pressing opportunity. This would also include one on one coaching for three months for the Doctor and the team (1 call each 1x a month for 3 months).

Focused Office Consultation

This could be implementing a new scheduling system, office manager training, recare or unscheduled treatment.  The training would consist of a 4 hour initial training session and 2 additional 1 hour calls.  

  • Scheduling to Goals instead of time - clear daily and hourly goals that maximize your time

  • Case Acceptance - it is a TEAM sport that starts in the chair

  • RCM - are you collecting what you produce? 

  • Team Retention - team agreements, strategies for clear communications and identify opportunities for every team member to feel great at the end of the day

  • Treatment presentation and financial conversations

  • Proactive Unscheduled treatment and recare protocols

THE COOLEST THING happened today! We were interviewing a really cool hygiene candidate and it was going great. We asked for questions from her. Here was her first question: "Do you take blood pressures here?" She only wants to be somewhere that cares about patients' overall health. That was the reason for the question.
