I’m Callie Ward, the CEO and Founder of Dash Dental Consulting, and I bring over 30 years of experience in the dental industry to help practices like yours thrive. My journey has been deeply rooted in the belief that genuine human connection is the foundation of successful dental practices.

Throughout my career, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges dentists and their teams face in balancing exceptional patient care with the demands of running a successful practice. Miscommunication and disconnection can lead to frustration, low case acceptance, and even team turnover. That’s where I come in.

At Dash Dental Consulting, my passion lies in empowering dental teams to unlock deeper levels of fulfillment and success. By focusing on relationship-driven results, I provide tailored strategies that promote open communication, collaboration, and a positive work culture.  When I’m not consulting, I love spending time with my family and enjoying the great outdoors in beautiful Colorado. Callie Ward

CEO & Founder

Welcome to Dash Dental Consulting! I’m Callie Ward, and I have dedicated over 33 years to the dental industry. My journey has been fueled by a passion for working with people and teams, inspiring me to become a consultant after witnessing the transformative power of positive leadership and proven systems. I have held every position in a dental front office and managed both single and multi-location practices, gaining invaluable insights into what makes a practice thrive.

At Dash Dental Consulting, my mission is clear: to help doctors and their teams align their core values with effective communication, ensuring they work together to provide exceptional patient care while feeling fulfilled at the end of each day. I believe that strong relationships—both among team members and with patients—are the cornerstone of success. My core values of integrity and honesty guide my approach, creating a transparent environment where everyone understands their goals and commitments.

The impact of my consulting is tangible: teams feel great about their work, practices become profitable, and patients receive outstanding care. I take a hands-on approach with a select group of clients, ensuring I’m available whenever they need support. One of my proudest moments in consulting was helping a team member discover their purpose, which inspired them to lead a recycling initiative. It was a powerful reminder that taking the time to connect with individuals can lead to meaningful change.

 Outside of consulting, I cherish spending time outdoors—hiking and camping—and I love being a "Dash" (my grandma name) to my grandchildren and children. I believe life is meant to be lived intentionally, and I strive to embody that in both my professional and personal life.

 I primarily work with smaller dental practices, typically with a few doctors and up to 15 team members. My clients are those who are willing to embrace change to achieve different results. Together, we tackle challenges related to profitability, personal satisfaction, and team retention.

 As a proud member of the Dental Entrepreneur Women group, I’m passionate about helping others find their voice and live their dash to the fullest. At Dash Dental Consulting, we focus on your goals, measuring success through key performance indicators and identifying strengths and opportunities for growth.

Services

Practice will have two one on one phone calls per doctor and 2 calls with the team and/or individual team members.  Calls will range from 30-60 minutes each.

Every six months the coach will come into the office and evaluate the practice in all aspects.  Opportunities for growth will be identified and a strategic growth plan will be instituted for the practice.  Team leadership and accountability will be crafted. Monthly goals and KPI's will be tracked as well as an annual planning summit yearly.  

Full Coaching - 18 Months

This is an in office consultation to evaluate the strengths and opportunities for growth.  The consultant would observe 1/2 day (4 hours) and then provide a 4 hour focused team meeting addressing the most pressing opportunity. This would also include one on one coaching for three months for the Doctor and the team (1 call each 1x a month for 3 months).

Focused Office Consultation

This could be implementing a new scheduling system, office manager training, recare or unscheduled treatment.  The training would consist of a 4 hour initial training session and 2 additional 1 hour calls.  

  • Scheduling to Goals instead of time - clear daily and hourly goals that maximize your time

  • Case Acceptance - it is a TEAM sport that starts in the chair

  • RCM - are you collecting what you produce? 

  • Team Retention - team agreements, strategies for clear communications and identify opportunities for every team member to feel great at the end of the day

  • Treatment presentation and financial conversations

  • Proactive Unscheduled treatment and recare protocols

THE COOLEST THING happened today! We were interviewing a really cool hygiene candidate and it was going great. We asked for questions from her. Here was her first question: "Do you take blood pressures here?" She only wants to be somewhere that cares about patients' overall health. That was the reason for the question. Callie, I know I've thanked you specifically for this before, your encouraging us to stop worrying about the time we might lose taking BP's. We weren't routinely doing this 3 years ago.
